For one very special gig, I made my way back from Cyprus to Marburg: the Parkdeck Party!
The location alone makes this event something special. Instead of a classic club, the party takes place right inside a parking garage. Where cars would normally be parked, there’s suddenly a dancefloor surrounded by concrete, music, drinks and lots of people coming together to celebrate.
And that’s exactly what makes the Parkdeck Party so unique: you arrive while it’s still light outside, the music is already playing, the first drinks are in hand, and before you know it, the entire parking deck has turned into one big party. It’s a completely different atmosphere from a night out at a club – almost like a little festival right in the middle of Marburg.
For me, it also felt like a little homecoming. After spending the past few months DJing in Cyprus, I flew back to Marburg especially for this gig. This time, I got to share the decks with Stevedorph which made the whole experience even more fun. Seeing so many familiar faces dancing in front of me and getting to play back home again made it even more special.
Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with me. That little trip from Cyprus to Marburg was definitely worth it!

Für einen ganz besonderen Gig ging es für mich dieses Mal von Zypern zurück nach Marburg: die Parkdeck Party!
Allein die Location macht dieses Event besonders. Gefeiert wird nicht in einem klassischen Club, sondern mitten in einem Parkhaus. Wo normalerweise Autos stehen, entsteht ein Dancefloor mit viel Beton, Musik, Drinks und jede Menge Menschen, die gemeinsam feiern.
Und gerade diese Mischung macht die Parkdeck Party aus: Man kommt an, es ist noch hell, die Musik läuft, die ersten Drinks sind in der Hand und innerhalb kürzester Zeit verwandelt sich das Parkdeck in eine riesige Party. Eine ganz andere Stimmung als nachts im Club – irgendwie ein bisschen Festival-Feeling mitten in Marburg.
Für mich war es außerdem ein kleines Homecoming. Nach mehreren Monaten als DJ auf Zypern bin ich extra für diesen Gig zurück nach Marburg geflogen. Dieses Mal stand ich gemeinsam mit Stevedorph hinter den Decks. So viele bekannte Gesichter vor mir tanzen zu sehen und wieder einmal zu Hause aufzulegen, hat den Abend für mich noch besonderer gemacht.
Danke an alle, die dabei waren und mit mir gefeiert haben. Der kleine Auslug von Zypern nach Marburg hat sich definitiv gelohnt!
